Australia faced the old enemy New Zealand at Brentford’s Gtech Community Stadium in an International friendly. Leicester City’s Harry Souttar scored the opening goal, while Hibernian man Martin Boyle supplied an assist in the 2-0 win.

Wednesday

Ella Toone’s Manchester United miss out on the UEFA Women’s Champions League group stages after a disappointing 3-1 defeat at Paris St Germain (4-2 on aggregate) in qualifying.

Friday

Over in the Republic of Ireland; St Patrick’s Athletic carved out a terrific 2-0 victory at Bohemians. David Norman Jr. completed 90 minutes and sees his side move up to third place in the Irish Premier Division table.

Saturday

Tottenham Hotspur beat Aston Villa 4-1 in the WSL early kick-off. Full-back Ashleigh Neville scored with a headed finish, while Kit Graham was an unused substitute.

Defenders Harry Souttar and Liam Kitching were unused substitutes in the EFL Championship. Leicester City won 3-1 at Swansea City, while Coventry City lost 1-0 at Bristol City.

Gethin Jones and Aaron Morley were pivotal in Bolton’s 2-1 home win against Northampton Town, with Aaron providing the winning assist. The 3 points see Wanderers move up to 4thplace in League One.

Ronan Darcy scored with a fantastic long range strike for Crawley Town, but his side couldn’t hold onto the lead. They lost 4-2 against Crewe Alexandra.

A clever assist from Luke Bolton sent Salford on their way to an early lead. City were pegged back and had to settle for a 2-2 draw with Swindon Town.

Elliot Lee’s Wrexham battled to a point in League Two,thanks to a 1-1 draw at Bradford City.

Halifax Town came out on top in their National League fixture against Kidderminster Harriers (2-1). Jamie Stott and Jack Evans both featured at the Shay Stadium. 

Sunday

Ella Toone’s Manchester United made light work of Everton in the WSL. They won 5-0 to maintain their unbeaten start to the season.

Liverpool drew 1-1 with West Ham in London. Taylor Hinds featured for ‘The Reds’, while Kirsty Smith and Emma Harries made appearances for United. #FullNinetyFamily
