Australian international defender Gethin Jones scored with a wonderful looping header to give his Bolton side a first half lead in League One. Wanderers went on to secure a crucial 3 points in the League One promotion race, following their 2-1 victory against Wycombe Wanderers.

Callum Lang made a late substitute appearance for Portsmouth in their 3-1 win over Cambridge United at Fratton Park. Pompey remain at the summit of League One.

Tom Barkhuizen scored the winning goal for Derby County. The Rams won 3-0 after making the long journey to Exeter City.

Jonny Smith’s quality assist proved to be a consolation for Wigan Athletic after their 4-2 defeat at Oxford United.

Barnsley grabbed a late equaliser at Shrewsbury Town to earn a 1-1 draw. Josh Earl gave another commanding defensive performance.

Ronan Darcy made a starting appearance for Crawley Town who drew 1-1 with Walsall in League Two.

FullNinety duo Luke Bolton and Elliot Lee combined to score a late winner, giving Wrexham all 3 points at Sutton United. 

Halifax Town’s defensive unit, underpinned by the FullNinety contingent of Jamie Stott, Jack Evans and Tylor Golden enabled ‘The Shaymen’ to edge a 2-1 win against Maidenhead United.

Josh Lundstram featured at Boundary Park as OldhamAthletic’s 2-1 win against Boreham Wood keeps them in the National League play off places.

Wednesday

Liam Kitching struck a last gasp equaliser for Coventry City to earn his side a 2-2 draw at Plymouth Argyle in the EFL Championship.

Saturday 

17 year old England youth international Ishé Samuels-Smith earned himself a place on the Chelsea substitute’s bench for their clash with Manchester City. A hugely entertaining Premier League fixture ended 1-1 at the Etihad Stadium.

Flying winger Martin Boyle made it two in two for Hibernian in the SPL. The ‘Socceroo’ scored with a cool finish in the 2-2 draw at Aberdeen.

Both Liam Kitching and Jamie Lindsay were unused substitutes in the EFL Championship. Liam’s Coventry City won 1-0 at Stoke, while Rotherham lost 1-0 against Watford.

Ella Toone’s added time assist proved to be only a consolation for Manchester United, who lost 3-1 at Arsenal in the WSL.

A goal and ‘Man of the Match’ performance from Callum Lang sent Portsmouth on their way to a comprehensive 4-1 home win against Reading.

A late winner for Tom Barkhuizen’s Derby County kept the pressure on leaders Portsmouth at the top of the League One table (1-0).

Wrexham made it back-to-back wins with a narrow 1-0 success in League Two. The Red Dragons saw off Notts County with star man Elliot Lee again proving his worth.

Jack Evans, Tylor Golden and Jamie Stott all made vital contributions for Halifax in the National League. Town made it three successive wins with a 2-1 victory at home to Woking.

Ed Francis’ Gateshead boosted their National League play-off hopes with a 4-2 win at Wealdstone.

Sunday

Two late strikes earned Everton the points against West Ham in the WSL. Emma Bissell made a late cameo appearance, while Kirsty Smith completed a day’s work for United (2-0). 

Bethany England and Kit Graham suffered a defeat as their Tottenham Hotspur side lost 2-1 against Aston Villa at Brisbane Road. #FullNinetyFamily
