Although short of domestic match action due to the international break, the #FullNinetyFamily still enjoyed a busy week. 

Lioness Bethany England was honoured to be named as Tottenham Hotspur’s new captain, with the new WSL campaign starting in two weeks. 

Grimsby Town defender Toby Mullarkey’s fantastic early season form saw him named in the League Two ‘Team of the Season’ so far. 

Tara Bourne and Emma Harries were both called up to the Young Lionesses squad for the upcoming fixtures against Norway and Belgium.

Tyrese Campbell suffered EFL Championship disappointment after his Stoke City side lost 1-0 at Norwich City. 

Hibernian shared the spoils with Kilmarnock in the SPL. Martin Boyle completed the 90 minutes in the 2-2 draw atRugby Park.

Callum Lang and Jonny Smith both stepped off the substitute’s bench as Wigan Athletic beat Cambridge United 2-1 in League One.

Two late goals ruined Gethin Jones’ afternoon at Reading. After leading for most of the game, Bolton Wanderers lost 2-1. 

Ronan Darcy continued his fine form for Crawley Town. He scored with a clinical finish in the 3-2 victory against Dan Pike’s Tranmere Rovers at the Broadfield Stadium. 

Wrexham dispatched Grimsby Town 3-0 in League Two. Star man Elliot Lee scored his 7th goal in 8 games and assisted another as they move up to 4th place in League Two.

In the National League, Ed Francis’ late equaliser capped off another fantastic midfield display for Gateshead. The North East outfit made the long trip south to earn a 1-1 draw at Aldershot. #FullNinetyFamily
