Tuesday

A second half goal was enough for Ronan Darcy’s Swindon Town to claim victory. The 21 year old was pivotal during the 1-0 win against Newport County. The victory lifts the  Wiltshire outfit to within a whisker of the play-off spots.

Right-back Tylor Golden slotted seamlessly into the Halifax Town line up during the 1-0 win at home to rivals York City.

Ben Tollitt was cool under pressure for Oldham Athletic. He converted a penalty-kick to rescue a point during the 2-2 draw with Scunthorpe United.

Wednesday

In the EFL Championship Stoke City came from behind to claim a point at Burnley. Tyrese Campbell starred for ‘The Potters’ during the 1-1 draw at Turf Moor.

Friday

Ella Toone came off the substitute’s bench to reinforce the England forward line as the Lionesses beat world champions USA 2-1 in a friendly match at Wembley Stadium.

St Patrick’s Athletic scored with the last kick of the game to bag a 2-1 win at Dundalk. Tom Grivosti continues to clock up the appearances for the Dublin outfit.

Saturday

Stoke City recorded a fabulous 3-1 win over Championship leaders Sheffield United at the Bet365 Stadium. Tyrese Campbell claimed an assist to put the icing on his fine display.

A Martin Boyle inspired Hibernian moved up to 3rd place in the SPL thanks to a 1-0 win over Motherwell at Easter Road.

Luke Bolton’s Salford City had to dig deep to secure a narrow 1-0 win at Northampton in League One.

Aribim Pepple stepped off the bench to provide a late assist as Grimsby Town beat Crawley Town 3-0 at Blundell Park.

An incredible 12 goal thriller at the Racecourse Ground saw Wrexham close the gap at the top of the National League. Elliot Lee gave a Man of the Match performance during the 7-5 win against Barnet.

Oldham Athletic drew 1-1 with Maidenhead United. Forward Ben Tollitt was on target for ‘The Latics’.

Also finding the net was defender Toby Mullarkey who was on hand to turn the ball home during the convincing 4-1 win for Altrincham.

Tylor Golden cemented his place in Halifax Town’s starting line up after a 1-1 draw at Maidstone United.

Jack Evans’ 30 yard screamer was the highlight for Hereford who made the trip to Boston United. The Bulls came away with the points thanks to a 4-2 win which also featured Ryan McLean who is in fine form.

Sunday
