Congratulations to 18 year old FC Copenhagen goalkeeperTheo Sander who made the substitute’s bench in the UEFA Champions League. His side welcomed German giants Bayern Munich to Denmark but lost narrowly 2-1.

A Tom Barkhuizen double assist earned Derby County a 3-1 away win at Blackpool in League One.

Luke Bolton’s Salford City made a worthwhile trip to South London in League Two. Two second half goals secured a 2-0 win against Sutton United.

Grimsby Town beat Barrow 2-1 at Blundell Park with Toby Mullarkey featuring for ‘The Mariners’.

Wrexham were unable to break the deadlock at Mansfield Town despite the creative prowess of star man Elliot Lee (0-0).

Tylor Golden curled in a brillliant 97th minute winner for Halifax Town in the National League. Jamie Stott and Jack Evans made up a trio of FullNinety players in the 2-1 win atWoking.

Wednesday

Liam Kitching stepped off the bench to sure up the Coventry City defence as his side gained a narrow 1-0 home victory against Blackburn Rovers. 

Also in the EFL Championship; Harry Souttar was an unused substitute as Leicester City beat Preston North End 3-0 in a convincing home win.

Friday

Manchester United welcomed Arsenal to Leigh Sports Village in the much anticipated WSL clash. Ella Toone provided the platform for ‘The Red Devils’ in the 2-2 draw.

Saturday 

Liam Kitching made his much anticipated full debut for Coventry City in the EFL Championship. The Sky Blues came from behind to draw 1-1 with Norwich City.

Harry Souttar’s patience and quality was rewarded with a starting place for Leicester City at the KingPower Stadium.His side beat Stoke City 2-0, with Tyrese Campbell missing the fixture with injury.

Hibernian came from two goals down to claim a point in the Edinburgh derby. Martin Boyle starred in the 2-2 draw at arch-rivals Hearts.

Salford City came out on top in a six goal thriller at the Peninsula Stadium. Luke Bolton supplied an assist in the 4-2 success.

Elliot Lee’s Wrexham battled their way to a 1-0 away win at Ronan Darcy’s Crawley Town in League Two.

Toby Mullarkey completed another 90 minutes of action for Grimsby Town. They drew 2-2 with Tranmere Rovers at Prenton Park.

Halifax beat Ebbsfleet 2-0 in the National League. Jamie Stott and Tylor Golden were defensive mainstays, while Jack Evans was an unused substitute.

Sunday

Kirsty Smith opened the scoring for West Ham United in the WSL, with her side beating Brighton 2-0.

Tottenham Hotspur won 3-1 against Bristol City. Kit Graham made a late substitute appearance. Also stepping off the bench was Hannah Cain, who’s Leicester City beat Everton 1-0. 

The evening WSL fixture saw Taylor Hinds’ Liverpool maintain their impressive start to the season with a 2-0 win over Aston Villa. #FullNinetyFamily
