Rotherham United’s fantastic 1-0 win against high flying Middlesbrough secured their EFL Championship status for next Season. Jamie Lindsay orchestrated the victory from central midfield.

Leicester City had to settle for a point against Everton in the Premier League. Harry Souttar was an unused substitute in the hugely entertaining 2-2 draw at the King Power Stadium.

Wednesday

A late goal denied Taylor Hinds’ Liverpool a credible draw at Chelsea, with the Londoners grabbing a 2-1 win in the WSL.

Jonny Smith made a starting appearance for Burton in League One. Albion held off Cambridge United to secure a 1-0 win.

Friday

Hannah Cain’s Leicester City suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat against WSL title contenders Arsenal.

Sunday

Bolton Wanderers will showdown with Barnsley in the League One Play-Off Semi-Finals. Aaron Morley scored a brilliant winning goal and Gethin Jones supplied an assist as ‘The Trotters’ won 3-2 at Bristol Rovers. Liam Kitching completed another 90 minutes of action in ‘The Tykes’ 2-0 loss at home to Peterborough United.

Lioness Ella Toone inspired Manchester United to a comprehensive 3-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur in the WSL. Bethany England and Kit Graham both started for Spurs. Kit for the first time in 18 months following long term injury.

Taylor Hinds’ Liverpool continued their recent good form by beating Manchester City 2-1 at Prenton Park.

Harry Souttar was again an unused substitute for Leicester City, who lost 5-3 at Fulham in the Premier League.

The EFL Championship concluded with Tyrese Campbell’s Stoke City losing 2-0 at Watford. Jamie Lindsay and Callum Lang played out a goalless draw for Rotherham and Wigan respectively.

David Norman Jr is celebrating automatic promotion to League One. Northampton Town edged Tranmere Rovers 1-0 to finish in third place.

Salford City secured a League Two play-off spot, although Luke Bolton’s men slipped to a 1-0 defeat against Gillingham. #FullNinetyFamily
