Bank Holiday Monday

The Halifax contingent of Jack Evans, Tylor Golden and Jamie Stott welcomed Gateshead’s Ed Francis to the Shay Stadium. A goalless draw cements both clubs’ position in the top half of the National League table.

Tuesday

Tyrese Campbell marked his first starting appearance of the season with a terrific goal and an assist for Stoke in the Carabao Cup Second Round North. City hammered Rotherham United 6-1 at the Bet365 Stadium.

Also in cup action were Salford City who dumped Leeds United out of the competition. Luke Bolton converted his spot-kick in the 9-8 shoot-out victory. (1-1 full-time).

Tranmere Rovers fielded new signing Dan Pike in their starting line up as they welcomed Leicester City to Prenton Park. The visitors progress thanks to a 2-0 win.

Wednesday

17 year old defender Ishé Samuels-Smith was named on the substitute’s bench for Chelsea in their Carabao Cup tie against AFC Wimbledon at Stamford Bridge. The Premier League side were made to work hard for their 2-1 win. Ryan McLean made a late appearance from the bench for the visitors.

Friday

A Jake Canavan double and a Ben clark strike sent The New Saints on their way to victory in the Welsh Premier League. Dan Williams made up the trio of FullNinety players that secured a 6-0 home win against Aberystwyth Town.

Saturday

The lunchtime kick-off saw Dan Pike make his full EFL debut for Tranmere Rovers. They welcomed Elliot Lee’s Wrexham to Prenton Park. It was the visitors who claimed the derby day bragging rights after securing a 1-0 victory.

Tyrese Campbell featured for Stoke City in the EFL Championship fixture at the Bet365 Stadium. Visitors Preston took the points thanks to a 2-0 win.

Gethin Jones starred for Bolton Wanderers in League One. The Trotters came from behind to beat Derby County 2-1 at the Toughsheet Stadium.

Elsewhere in the EFL; Callum Lang’s Wigan suffered a 2-1 defeat at Blackpool with Jonny Smith making an impressive substitute appearance. It wasn’t Salford City’s day at Morecambe, as they lost 1-0 with Luke Bolton completing 90 minutes of action. Ronan Darcy stepped off the bench for 30 minutes in Crawley’s entertaining 3-3 draw at Stockport County.

Halifax made the short trip over The Pennines to visit Rochdale in the National League. Jack Evans, Tylor Golden and Jamie Stott return to Yorkshire with all 3 points thanks to a 1-0 win.

Sunday

Hibernian returned to winning ways with a 2-0 win at Aberdeen. Australian international Martin Boyle continued his fine return to full fitness by completing the SPL match at Pittodrie . #FullNinetyFamily
