Monday

Coventry City comfortably beat Maidstone United in the FA Cup 5th Round to set up a quarter-final tie against Wolverhampton Wanderers. Liam Kitching completed an assured 90 minutes in the 5-0 victory.

Tuesday 

England played their final friendly match before Euro 2025 qualifying gets underway in April. Ella Toone stepped off the substitute’s bench to score with a great volley in the 5-1 victory.

Tom Barkhuizen’s Derby County lost ground in the race for automatic League One promotion. They lost 2-1 to Charlton Athletic at Pride Park.

Jonny Smith enjoyed the local bragging rights after his Wigan Athletic side edged Bolton 1-0 at the DW Stadium. Gethinjones started for Wanderers, while Aaron Morley was an unused substitute.

Luke Bolton’s introduction inspired a late Wrexham equaliser at Forest Green Rovers (1-1), with Elliot Lee also featuring for ‘The Red Dragons’.

Wednesday

17 year old England youth international Ishé Samuels-Smith was named on the substitute’s bench in Chelsea’s 3-2 FA Cup win against Leeds United at Stamford Bridge.

The big game in Edinburgh took place at Tynecastle Park in the SPL. Hearts drew 1-1 with Hibernian, with Martin Boyle featuring for the visitors. 

Saturday

£15m signing Harry Souttar was an unused substitute for Leicester City in their 2-1 home defeat against Queens Park Rangers in the EFL Championship.

Tyrese Campbell made a substitute appearance for Stoke City, who beat Middlesbrough 2-0 at the Bet365 Stadium.

Hibernian moved into the SPL top six thanks to a 2-0 home win against Ross County. Socceroo Martin Boyle featured for Hibs at Easter Road.

Jamie Lindsay’s Rotherham United were on the end of a disappointing home defeat against South Yorkshire rivals Sheffield Wednesday (0-1). 

Portsmouth new boy Callum Lang scored again as his side consolidated top spot in League One. Pompey beat Oxford United 2-1 at Fratton Park.

Gethin Jones’ Bolton Wanderers secured a welcome 2-0 home victory against Cambridge United to get their promotion push back on track. Aaron Morley made a late substitute appearance at the Community Stadium.

Derby County made light work of visitors Port Vale, with Tom Barkhuizen impressing in the 3-0 win at Pride Park.

An Elliot Lee masterclass inspired Wrexham to a 4-0 mauling of  Accrington Stanley. Our man scored one and assisted another, while Luke Bolton got a late run out at the Racecourse Ground.

Toby Mullarkey’s Grimsby Town dug out a 1-0 home win against Forest Green Rovers in League Two.

A last gasp equaliser for Ed Francis’ Gateshead earned a 1-1 draw at Boreham Wood. 

Sunday 

Kit Graham and Bethany England featured for Tottenham Hotspur in front of a 60,050 crowd at The Emirates Stadium. Arsenal came out on top, securing a narrow 1-0 victory. 

Lioness Ella Toone starred for Manchester United in their 1-1 draw at West Ham United in the WSL. Kirsty Smith completed 90 minutes for ‘The Hammers’. #FullNinetyFamily
