Australian International Martin Boyle’s superb recent form was recognised last week when he was named as the ‘Star Man’ in the Scottish Professional Football League’s ‘team of the week’. The Socceroo hit 3 goals and claimed an assist for the week ending 6th February in which Hibernian took maximum points from their games with St Mirren and Aberdeen.

Tuesday evening was a busy one for the FullNinety Family. Elliot Lee scored for Oxford United in their 2-0 win at Bristol Rovers following his loan move from Luton Town. Also in League One, Wigan Athletic left it late to claim a 1-0 victory at Northampton Town with a Callum Lang strike being enough to claim the 3 points. A Ryan Hill goal secured a 1-0 win for Eastleigh over Yeovil Town in the National League.

Olly Lee wasted no time at ‘The Valley’ on Saturday afternoon. He opened the scoring within 31 seconds of the kick off during Gillingham’s League One fixture at Charlton Athletic. His 20 yard strike was backed up by an assist as his side came away with a 3-2 victory. It was a successful day for Bolton Wanderers and Gethin Jones too. They kept a clean sheet to win 1-0 after a tight game against visiting side Stevenage Borough.

Bethany England took the plaudits for her display during Chelsea’s 5-0 win at Bristol City. Our Lioness scored a goal and claimed two assists during Sunday’s clash in the FA Women’s Super League. The West London outfit now sit 5 points clear at the top of the table.

The weekend’s action concluded at Oxford United where Callum Lang grabbed his second goal in as many games. Firing the opening goal to put Wigan Athletic in to a second half lead. Elliot Lee came off the bench for ‘The U’s’ as his side turned the League One match around to secure a 2-1 victory.
