Blackburn Rovers Under 23 Goalkeeper Joe Hilton joined League One side Fleetwood Town on an emergency loan yesterday afternoon and made his professional debut only a couple of hours later.
The Cod Army lost the Papa John’s Trophy tie 3-2, but the young stopper was still able to impress. Joe will now be looking to build on that performance in this Saturday’s League One fixture against Portsmouth.
