Bethany England will play in the UEFA Champions League Quarter-Finals following her Chelsea team’s 3-1 aggregate win against Atletico Madrid. The Londoners came away with a dogged 1-1 draw which sees them take on German side Wolfsburg in the last eight.

Hibernian cemented their 3rd place position in the Scottish Premiership with a 2-1 win at Ross County. Australian International Martin Boyle won and clinically despatched a 52nd minute penalty. Hibs have their sights firmly set on European football next season.

In League One; there were 3 points in the bag for Olly Lee’s Gillingham after they beat Swindon Town 3-1 at The County Ground. Rochdale came away from Sincil Bank with a much needed win. Aaron Morley’s team secured a 2-1 victory thanks to a 74th minute winner.

Gethin Jones was the hero for Bolton Wanderers during their 1-0 win in League Two. He struck the decisive 63rd minute goal in the away fixture at Port Vale. ‘The Trotters’ have now taken a massive 26 points from the last 30 available.

Faye Bryson and Emma Bissell came away with runners-up medals from the Conti Cup Final. Their Bristol City side were beaten 6-0 by Chelsea at Vicarage Road. Bethany England missed the game after sustaining concussion during her midweek European match.

In the Women’s Super League; Abbie McManus’ Tottenham Hotspur gained a point following their 0-0 draw at Reading.

Hannah Cain and Kirstie Levell featured for Leicester City during their top-of-the-table clash with Durham. ‘The Foxes’ maintain their position at the Championship summit with a 2-0 win. Taylor Hinds’ Liverpool came out on top with an emphatic 5-0 victory over Coventry City. #FullNinetyFamily
